November 5 – Intermediate Outrigger Steering Clinic. Instructor: Cheryl Scribe

This course will involve a lot of water time which will maximize the participant’s learning opportunity. Instruction will happen both from 5 seat and the coach boat, which will provide participants a good opportunity to gain feedback and to take their skills to the next level. A round table discussion will be held over the lunch break.

Cheryl Scribe -Cheryl Skribe has been paddling and steering for 30 years. A big part of her success in handling an outrigger canoe has come from the many different types of water craft Cheryl has paddled and the variety of water conditions she has exposed herself to. This experience has been invaluable in the success she has had on the water. Cheryl is a former 2-time World Dragon Boat champion, Na Wahine O Ke Kai champion, 4-time gold medalist and 4-time silver medalist at the World Sprint Outrigger Championships and Kona long distance champion.
