Winter rules and Night Paddling

Winter Paddling  – Winter rules come into effect on October 15th https://fcrcc.com/about/club-policies/winter-paddling/ Winter rules are in effect from October 15th to April 15th. ALL PADDLERS MUST WEAR PFDs during bothdaylight and evening hours. Paddlers venturing West of the Burrard Street Bridge must stay within 50 m of shore at all times. OC1 Huki Orientation continues

FCRCC Anniversary Pub Night – April 22, 2018

FCRCC Novice OC6 is back again for the season

This is a co-ed program open to adults of all ages, and is coached by experienced FCRCC outrigger paddlers. Through this program, you will learn outrigger paddling technique (no paddling experience necessary), develop paddling fitness and be introduced to Hawaiian culture. Practices are held Mondays and Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, leaving from the FCRCC Burrard site.  Practices are twice each week for 4 weeks. Warning, the more practices you attend, the more quickly you will become addicted to outrigger paddling! OC2 Tempest Orientation

You must attend these orientations in order to be allowed to go out in the OC2. The only other way to have access is if someone wants to be a Rep for a specific OC program, to orientate their group, they would be taking on the responsibility of conveying all the information. Any damage due to ” ignorance of policy or procedure from their paddlers would be their responsibility.If anyone was taking on this role, so they would be noted as such and get a signature.
