  Around Bowen Island OC6 and small boat Race – July 27, 2019 Hosted by False Creek Racing Canoe Club, this race starts and finishes in Snug Cove. About half way around Bowen Island, Tunstall bay, will be used as a beach change out point. A buoy will be place outside the bay. Padders are to organize rides to and from Tunstall bay. FCRCC March Madness Race Description If you’ve raced with us last year, you’ll be familiar with our course. If this is your first time, we know you’ll have a fun race. This 5 km OC6 race takes place in beautiful English Bay and involves four ama side buoy turns. We’ve chosen to keep this course so spectators can watch as much of the race as possible from the shore. Novice OC-6 Steering Course  This course is designed for paddlers who would like to learn how to steer an outrigger canoe in a safe and supportive environment.
