Club Wide 5K Time Trials Summer Series Club time trials are now being set for our summer –  lets get back on the water! Novice OC1

Novice OC1 – Basic Fundamentals This program is directed towards paddlers who have completed an FCRCC OC1 Orientation session, and are comfortable in our Surfrigger/C-Lion OC1s, with knowledge of rigging, equipment care, steering and balance.  The goal of this SBC is to build confidence and technical skills, while working out in an OC1, in a group environment. OC1 Distance and Surfing sessions – Course is now full

When: June 29, 2020 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Where: FCRCC, Burrard Compound

OC-1 Distance and Surfing for Experienced and intermediate paddlers The focus of these sessions will be distance training, how to prepare and race the Samoa Time Trials.  If the wind is up, then will include surfing technique.  Bring your own boat or book a club boat.  Club members using club boats will be allotted extra time.  The club will book 3 c-lions and 2 hukis for this 4 week session.  Up to 5 other spots are open if you have your own boat. Free 1 hour coached paddle session after completion of OC1 orientation (usually next day)

When: July 12, 2020 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Club small boat access – booking required

Thank you for your patience as we developed a policy to allow access to the club small boats. Our policy is a work in progress as we see what works and what doesn’t.  Our goal is to offer you as much access as possible to our fleet while adhering to Provincial directives. BC is continuing to reduce Community transmission. We have been asked to remain diligent in delivering access to our boats in a “safe” manner. This will take buy in from each of us.
