FCRCC’s False Creek Masters Dragon Boat team offers a competitive program for women 49+ (Senior B category) with coaching from Angela Hall, Chris Scully and a team of high-performance coaches. The Masters team is looking for athletes who are committed to competing at the next Canadian National Championships in 2024, Club Crew World Championships in 2025 and beyond. In our first season 2018-19, we placed 4th in Canada in our division and earned a berth for the 2020 CCWC in France.

Although the 2020 CCWC was ultimately cancelled, we have built on that qualifying success and continue to work on our competitive program, paddling and training in dragon boat, OC1’s and dry land training in the gym. Locally, for the 2024 season, we are committed to competing at all the top Dragon Boat Festivals, where through hard work and team effort, our aim is a podium finish in the top division at each regatta. We also find time for fun, with a great social committee who organize regular social events off the water throughout the year. If you are looking for a challenge and are keen to compete at a higher level as part of a very motivated team, please check us out at www.falsecreekmasters.com [1] to claim your 2 trial practices.
