Come join us at False Creek Racing Canoe Club for FREE sessions!
If you’ve seen our canoes on the waters of False Creek, but never have been in one before… this is an excellent opportunity to come try it out! We will have Dragon Boats, Outrigger Canoes (6-person), and Canoes & Kayaks for everyone to try out!
Bring your family, friends, neighbours, and coworkers to come and join you as well! Trying new activities is always more fun with more people! We hope to see you on the water soon, paddles up!
- Adults and Kids (7+) are welcome
- All equipment is provided for
- Experienced and qualified coaches and paddlers to learn from and ask all your questions to
- Please arrive 10 minutes earlier to sign waivers, and get fitted with paddles and PFDs
- Sessions are 30-45 minutes long appx (Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe (OC6))
- Dragon Boat sessions depart at 1:00p, 2:00p, and 3:00p
- Outrigger Canoe (6-person) sessions depart at 12:30p, 1:30p, and 2:30p
- Canoes & Kayaks are on a first come first serve, lots are available throughout the day
- You may get splashed – it’s recommended to bring a change of clothes and a towel (just in case)
- MUST sign a waiver before getting in any club boats (Provided the day of when you arrive)
