Participation in Clinics, Courses, Programs, and Youth Camps
It is up to the participant to ensure they have the prerequisite abilities for a course. In order to serve all course participants, if a participant’s abilities are not suited to the course in which he/she/they is registered, the participant will be moved into a suitable course in which there is space. There will be no refunds in this situation.
Course Instructors
A course instructor may change between sessions for a given course due to instructor availability.
Refund & Cancellation Policy for Clinics, Courses, Programs and Youth Camps
*** All cancellations are subject to a 10% administration fee.***
30 + Days prior to the start date: 90% refund
14 – 29 days: 75% refund
7 – 13 days: 50% refund
Less than 7 days: 0%
When cancelling 14 days or more, you have the option to transfer your registration to the same clinic, course, program, or youth camp to be held at a later period within the same calendar year.
Additional notes:
- No refunds or make-up sessions will be given for any missed sessions within a clinic, course, or program.
- In case any clinic, course, or program is postponed due to Force Majeure, public health orders, or any other situations out of False Creek Racing Canoe Club’s control, full credit will be given to registrants. This credit may be applied against a future registration into the same or a similar offering within one year of its postponement. Alternatively, a 50% refund can be requested in writing within 30 days of its postponement.
- In case any session(s) within a clinic, course, or program is cancelled due to force majeur, public health orders, or any other situations out of False Creek Racing Canoe Club’s control, the session(s) will be rescheduled.
- A clinic, course, or program that has not reached minimum enrolment 1 week before the start of the course will be cancelled and registrants will be notified by email. Registrants will be offered a full refund or may register to take the course at another time.
Membership Cancellation
No refunds if membership is downgraded or cancelled part-way through the year.
