- Novice paddlers must paddle in pairs at all times.
- Novices must not go past the Burrard Street Bridge, unless accompanied by a qualified FCRCC Coach, either paddling or in a coach boat.
- New OC1 paddlers must paddle in C-lions for at least one month/30 days before being permitted to use the Allwaves.
