Join the FCRCC Youth Sprint team! These programs are for those who want to learn more advanced paddling skills and try out racing.  These racing programs also include the summer camp options! Regatta Ready Summer Camp

Our Regatta Ready Summer Camp program is for kids who want to dive right into some more advanced paddling concepts and try out some racing boats!  It is geared towards introducing kids (ages 10-15) to the next level of sprint canoe/kayak paddling (beyond CanoeKids).  It focuses on getting kids involved in a healthy and active lifestyle, with an emphasis on developing canoe/kayak paddling skills.  We have two program options: 2-3 week camp option – this option is for kids who want to try out the program for 2-3 weeks.  At the end of the program, we will put on a […]

CanoeKids Summer Camp

Our CanoeKids summer camp is a great way to introduce kids (ages 7-12) to sprint canoe and kayak paddling in a fun and safe environment. Each of our weekly camps run Monday through Friday 9am-4pm and will be taught by our Certified CanoeKids summer camp coaches. We have many exciting Youth paddling options to help keep your kids active!  Our youth paddling programs are structured based off the nationwide Canadian Sport For Life Long-Term Athlete Development model, and more specifically, the CanoeKayakCanada LTAD Model.  This model is designed to help kids develop optimally through stages, acquiring fundamental skills and progressively building on their technical and physical skills.
