Progressing from the Level 2 program, this course will focus on how to prepare for a surf ski race in the open water. A paddler must be comfortable with paddling and able to remount in rough water to join this course as we will be paddling outside False Creek to English Bay area.
This advanced course will cover
- How to ride on swells and waves confidently
- Reading water, wind, tide
- Downwind (pending on logistics such as number of cars with roof racks)
- Advanced paddling technique
- Beach launch & landing

Paddlers are required to provide their own PFD.
Club boats will be available for participants to use or they may bring their own boat.
