About Surfski at FCRCC

Surfskis are fast and fun. Designed for paddling in open water, surfskis come alive while riding waves.

FCRCC has a range of surfskis, from stable to challenging.

We offer Spring, Summer and Fall sessions for beginner and experienced surfski paddlers.

Using FCRCC Surfskis

Members with Small Boat Access or All Boat Access have unlimited access to our surfski.

Beginner paddlers will need to successfully complete an Surfski Introduction course prior to being granted access.

Experienced paddlers will need to successfully demonstrate a capsize recovery and have a shed orientation.

FCRCC uses an online canoe booking system to reserve canoes.  This ensures that paddlers actually have a canoe when they arrive at the club.

Surf Ski Clinics

Both Beginner and Advanced programs run weekly on Sundays.
